Pastor Joyce B. Fleming, Missionary and Evangelist, is the Founder and Pastor of Word in Faith Ministries.  Under the leadership and pastorship of the late Apostle, Dr. Martha S. Parker, The Way of the Cross Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Pastor Fleming accepted the call of God to Ministry.  Pastor Fleming is a servant-Leader who is committed to the call of God on her life to serve others.   

Under the Apostolic covering of Apostle, Dr. Doretha D. Allen, Berean Light Ministries, Inc, Emporia, VA, Pastor Fleming faithfully and joyfully serves the community by preaching and declaring God's word, God's Truth and sharing the Love of God.  Pastor Fleming has been faithfully teaching the Word of God since she became a Sunday School Teacher in her early 20's.  She experienced the love of God at the age of 9 and recalls how impactful it was to experience the love, protection, and faithfulness of God in her childhood. 

Pastor Fleming has encouraged others through the Nursing Home Ministry, served as an Adult and Youth Sunday School Teacher, Youth Missionary Advisor, President of the Young Adult Missionaries: Halifax County Union, and Vacation Bible School Teacher.  Pastor Fleming was featured in "Colors of the Ministry," a Christian broadcast aired on WNVN-TV 20, to address the issues and needs within the community. Pastor Fleming was also a frequent guest speaker on the WYAL Radio Station, Scotland Neck, NC “For the Children” Radio Broadcast, promotion and prayer for the Halifax County School System.  She served as a Parent Educator, Substitute Teacher, and Tutor within the Halifax County School System and continues to be an advocate for children and families.

Pastor Joyce Fleming and her husband, Deacon Gilbert Fleming, Sr. have been married for 50 years.  They have 7 children, two sons-in-love, and thirteen grandchildren.

Pastor Sara J. Price is an Apostle, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, counselor, mentor, evangelist, Chaplin, teacher, survivor, philanthropist and most recently an author. She was raised in the church, and has been under the great generals that have gone on to be with the Lord. She was born again and filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 6 and has had numerous encounters with the Lord beginning in her early childhood.

Seeking the Lord

Her life drastically shifted in the early 1990s when she started really entering the presence of the Lord. One day she was reading Matthew 17:21, and the Word literally came alive, and the Bible became 3D in front of her face. This started her 7 years of intense fasting and praying. She would feel the Lord's presence coming upon her and could hear Him tell her ‘you are going to be fasting soon, get ready for it.’  This made her rejoice because she deeply desired to be in His presence and still does today. The last prolonged fast that the Lord had her on was for 72 days without a bit of food. On the 71st day, He told her that she could eat a baked potato. Prior to that, she was fasting from 1-60 days at a time for 7 years out in the woods seeking the Lord. The Lord allowed her to continue to provide for her family. She still cooked, cleaned, and catered to her family. But as soon as she was done, she would hear the Lord call her back to the woods to seek His face and pray sometimes up to 4-5 times a day; temporarily leaving her beautiful family and her 3,000- foot ranch brick home and many acres of land.

Visions of Heaven, Hell and the White Throne Judgment

Through the intense fasting and praying she found the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Lord has revealed many visions and revelations to her, but the most memorable was when the Lord took Pastor Sara to Heaven, and showed her Heaven, Hell and the White throne judgment. It is difficult to briefly summarize the enormity and the gravity of the experience. While in heaven the Lord allowed her to drink living water next to our savior Jesus, see the great patrons of Old, and see her family members in heaven who served the Lord alongside the saints who encouraged her to continue to spread the gospel. Then the Lord took her high up in the sky and then He took her gradually back down. On the descent below it looked like a beehive with millions of bees. However, as she got closer she realized it was swarms of people gathered together at the White Throne of judgment. Then she heard Jesus say “watch”. She witnessed the angels searching the Lambs Book of Life for names that weren’t there, then the Lord sentencing nonbelievers to the Lake of fire. The visions were so intense that it took her years to recover and it gave her an even deeper passion to reach the unsaved. She will also never forget Jesus’s last words to her when she left Heaven, Hell and the White Throne of Judgment “Tell my people, to use my name. It is power against all powers of the enemy.”

Present day

Pastor Sara J. Price is currently on assignment in West Virginia where she continues to minister to people. She has started 2 churches one in Virginia and one in Massachusetts. She preaches internationally including to millions in Africa via radio and teaches Sunday evening Bible study on Zoom.

Elder Roger Haley is the Volunteer Department Director for over 3,200 volunteers at The Potter’s House, located in Dallas, Texas.

 Roger has been under Bishop T.D. Jakes mentorship for the last 30 years and has been blessed from the wisdom and knowledge that Bishop has bestowed to him.

Roger is married to Yolanda, who is a paralegal by profession and the owner of “Simply Yolanda”, an Events Planning company. Yolanda oversees the Hospitality Ministry for The Potter’s House of Dallas church.

Roger and Yolanda have been married for 31 years and are the proud parents of one son, Jerome, a beautiful granddaughter, Haley, and a grandson, Emmanuel. Together, they oversee the Marriage Ministry at The Potter’s House called “Chosen and Committed”.

Roger has a passion for marriage and has been a Belief Therapist for the past 13 years. He is also the author of the book, How to Be Your Wife’s Champ and a Board Certified Belief Therapist.

Driven by her commitment to support women in business, Dr. Renee established Radiant Diamond Society, LLC, which serves as a nurturing space for female entrepreneurs. Her dedication to building and equipping businesswomen fosters growth, leadership, and lasting success.

Furthermore, Dr. Renee's calling to spiritual ministry is embodied in the foundation of Women at the Well Living Water Ministries, Inc. Dr. Julia Weaver, RN, CMSRN, is Compassionate, Caring and Courageous for the people she serves. A woman of God that has been set apart to take care of the needs of the people. She has a thirst for knowledge, has completed several rigorous programs of extensive education and study, and has worked directly with patients, families and communities using many core values of the nursing process. She is a Registered Nurse, who resides in Ayden, NC. Julia presents with 48 years of nursing expertise. Her career has covered Psychiatric, Medical- Surgical, Nephrology, Gerontology, Home Health, Cardiac and Mentorship for new nurses.

 Having a heart for the people's needs of not only physical and medical needs inspired her to be concerned about their souls. This led her to pursue and obtain a doctorate degree in the ministry. Now her mission is healing both natural and spiritual.

 Rochelle D. Epps is a Retired Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), US Army Reservist (Retired), Breast Cancer Survivor and Spokesperson.

  Rachel Joyner-Jones, MSN, RN, is a Registered Nurse.  Rachel resides in Greenville, NC. She is passionate about serving, nurturing and providing holistic care in whatever setting God sends her.
